The Office Group is renowned for producing high end, design-led office space. Opem’s challenge was to design and install security solutions that were in keeping with the building’s aesthetics and didn’t stand out or detract from the overall design, look, and feel of the space.
ABOUT THE PROJECT
Located just north of London’s bustling West End, stands the newly refurbished Douglas House. The property boasts 47,000 sq ft of prime office space, spread across eight floors. This elegant building comprises state of the art meeting room facilities, serviced offices, communal areas, kitchens, private roof terrace, bike storage, and more.
Opem Security was commissioned to deliver a full security installation service, including; CCTV cameras, Wireless Salto door handles, access control systems, and magnetic locks, as well as providing the ongoing maintenance, and onsite security, to support the building team.
This is my second project working with Opem Security and they continue to deliver what’s needed no matter how challenging the environment. Sara is always on hand to assist with queries and provide weekly updates. Stuart and the on-site team are helpful, hard working and committed to meeting the programme no matter what hours are needed to do so.

THE CHALLENGE
The Office Group is renowned for producing high end, design-led office space. Opem’s challenge was to design and install security solutions that were in keeping with the building’s aesthetics and didn’t stand out or detract from the overall design, look, and feel of the space.
One of the biggest challenges we encountered for this project was finding discreet locations and mounts for our CCTV security cameras while remaining mindful of not compromising our visuals on the properties entrance and exits points.
