About the Project
Located in the heart of Fitzrovia, on a prominent corner stands the newly renovated Alfred Place. This vibrant flexible office space remains true to its heritage and embodies warehouse-style features including full-height windows, creating a light-filled, creative workspace. With its internal communal courtyard and idyllic roof terrace, it offers a slice of zen from the bustling London streets below.
Having previously provided security services to a number of Landmarks enviable real estate portfolio, Opem Security were delighted to be instructed to deliver the installation for CCTV and access control, as well as the ongoing service maintenance.
I have worked on various projects with Opem since April 2019. Opem are Landmark’s preferred security advisor and installer for all centres, consistently delivering projects on time and on budget. Opem work with my team in offering and providing a secure system design to meet Landmark brand’s high standards; ensuring estimate requests or queries raised are responded to quickly.
Opem’s install team have worked closely with our contractors on all projects, coordinating between all parties and supervisors. They react quickly to changes ensuring all installs have been completed on time and, if issues occur, Opem are proactive in finding and implementing solutions. I have found the install and management team very knowledgeable, professional and personable. I have direct contact with the directors when I need to call, who respond very quickly when I email for updates or leave messages.
Following the install of a project, Opem manages the out-of-hours security requirements of the site, liaising with our centre managers & facilities department.

Landmark tasked our engineers with designing a security system that was intuitive and user friendly for the building team. They were also looking to improve overall space management and improve overall security and user experience.
Being mindful of budget, we were able to utilise some of the properties existing security assets. While installing additional cameras, speakers, magnetic locks, and access control to improve building security in vulnerable areas.
After a rigorous site survey and input from the client, Opem quickly identified areas of improvement. We installed additional cameras to provide optimised views of all final entrance and exit doors, including the two lift cars, as well as linking all access control doors on the fire route to the fire alarm panel.
Overall, the security installation was a success and Opem Security continues to maintain a healthy and robust relationship with Landmark. We look forward to our continued partnership and helping to safeguard their workspace.
