What’s your role title?
Founder and CEO
What are your main responsibilities?

To keep Opem moving forward through listening to what our clients want and through the innovation of our offering.

What are your past experiences?

25 years in the security industry, with a 5-year gap working within the flexible office industry. This experience lighted a fire under me and I have been obsessed with providing first-class service to this industry ever since.

What do you like about working at Opem?

A number of reasons really; fundamentally I want to make a difference and this is my way of doing that. On a day to day basis, what gets me out of bed is working with my team who are all amazing and do great work; and of course our clients. We are lucky to work with really engaging people who see the value in what we do, and there is no better feeling for me.

What superhero would you be and why?

Hmmm……is a Jedi a superhero?  Yes, I want to be a Jedi, so I can use the Jedi mind trick. So when an intruder breaks into a client’s building, I will feel a disturbance in the force. Then I can make the intruder shout at the top of their lungs, “Help me, I am an intruder and want to hug a policeman”, by using the Jedi mind trick!

If Hollywood made a story of your life, who would you want to play you and why?

Would have to be Robert DeNiro; Bob to his friends.  Bob is my fav actor, and has pitched a bio to me several times. Maybe one day…..maybe 😊

Head of Client Services

What superhero would you be and why?

I would be Black Widow 😊.  She is extremely dedicated to what she does, passionate about her role within the ‘Superhero World’.  She gets the job done, is cool and calm, treats people with respect and is respected BUT knows how to stand up for herself and is deadly if you hurt her or the ones she cares about 😊.

If Hollywood made a story of your life, who would you want to play you and why?

Jennifer Anniston – she’s beautiful, funny, sassy, independent and extremely successful. 😊

What’s your role title?
Business Development Manager
What are your main responsibilities?

To help grow our client base and look at ways to adapt our offering to be very client-led. I am also in charge of our marketing strategy and implementation and HR.

What are your past experiences?

I have worked in many industries, always within sales, marketing and event organisation.

What do you like about working at Opem?

I love the team! I have never worked somewhere so supportive and passionate. I genuinely love what I do and have been given incredible projects since starting. I was responsible for relaunching our brand with a new look and work closely with Jason to help think about innovations. As it is a small team, big decisions can be made and implemented in a short time! It is very dynamic!

What superhero would you be and why?

I would want Jean from X-Men’s powers: telekinesis and telepathy! It would be great to move things with my mind, and use telepathy to talk to people without talking!

If Hollywood made a story of your life, who would you want to play you and why?

I would want Emilia Clarke to play me because she is witty, sarcastic and always smiling! Also, she is very expressive when she talks, like me!

What’s your role title?
Ranger Team Manager
What are your main responsibilities?

Responsible for the day to day operations of the entire Rangers team and to ensure that each member is carrying out their duties correctly and efficiently.

What are your past experiences?

I have worked in the security industry for 25 years, predominately in supervisory and managerial roles for reputable clients such as the Warner brothers (Harry Potter studio tour), Getty Images, and the BBC.

What do you like about working at Opem?

I love working for Opem, because of the internal staff with which includes the control room operators as they are really easy to interact with when it comes to problem-solving as well as other members of management who are really professional and are a great support system.

What superhero would you be and why?

Superman – because he always comes to the rescue of others and sorts things out in the nick of time (kind of what I do on a day to day basis).

If Hollywood made a story of your life, who would you want to play you and why?

Dwayne “the Rock” Johnson – Because he is a very multi-talented and multi-faceted actor who I can confidently say would play my character to perfection. My character would involve me conquering bullies (as a child), hanging with unsavoury characters (as a teen), going through reformation (as a young adult), dealing with troublemakers at club venues (as a doorman), getting into more pleasant professions and eventually prospering up until this day.
